Optimized shipping processing with EVA shipping software from Göttingen

Packing stations can be set up in the shipping department or in the packing department.

With EVA, you have optimized processing screens in which packing data (optionally also pack content data) and selected header data (e.g. forwarding agent keys, addresses) are recorded and labels/barcode labels and shipping-relevant documents are printed. Packing stations are often set up in combination with parcel service or forwarding agent processing and can also use touchscreens. A process can also be processed in parallel at several packing stations if your processes require this.

If you have already transferred all the necessary information from your ERP system, labels can also be printed automatically on preset printers directly at the packing station during data transfer, without the process having to be processed on the EVA screen.

It is also possible to connect scales, barcode scanners or mobile devices for data capture.

EVA offers the integration of a large number of parcel services and freight forwarders from Germany and the EU into a single database-supported system. This means that the installation and data supply of individual carrier-dependent software systems or manual internal data entry is no longer necessary. Barcode labels are generated on label printers or laser printers, but the layouts can also be forwarded electronically. EVA systems currently produce between 40 and 60,000 labels per day, depending on the design and project.

If you use the EVA parcel service/forwarding module, you can process shipments for all carriers from any workstation. Here too, EVA adapts flexibly to your work processes.

In addition to various standard forms, you can use the integrated form generator to design and integrate additional forms without restrictions. Your logo and signatures can also be imported.

There is no need to print forms if you use EVA parcel service and forwarding processing to generate barcode labels.

EVA Mobile communicates directly with the EVA system and supports your mobile processes wherever stationary workstations are not possible. The determination of the transfer of risk, the recording of package contents, the load completeness check and the management of a dispatch warehouse are areas that benefit particularly strongly from EVA MOBILE. Convenient expansion options, such as the inventory function, are available. Further expansion stages, such as data collection in an external warehouse, are also possible.

 A particularly practical feature is that no extra programming is required on the mobile devices, only an Internet browser and WLAN are necessary. This means no additional effort is required when changing devices. The interface can be designed flexibly and can be tailored precisely to customer-specific requirements. The HTML interfaces displayed are set up just as flexibly with the internal EVA tools as they are with the standard workstations.

E-scales are often integrated into shipping processes for weight recording - EVA has interfaces to the devices of all well-known scale manufacturers and can communicate with them. Both serial and IP-based interfaces are available.
